Educational and experiential backgrounds of physicians and managers often results in the two groups speaking different languages and prioritizing different aspects of healthcare delivery. Prioritizing effective communication can overcome these barriers to build trust that mitigates these differences and facilitates collaboration to achieved desired financial and clinical outcomes.
