This course will cover the way water is treated within the facility to ensure it is pure and safe to use in dialysate. The function of each water treatment component will be addressed as well as the potential problems that may arise when something fails. Attendees will learn the required testing that is performed by staff as well as the medical director's role in providing oversight to the system and monitoring logs.
